Today Silas discovered that he LOVES strawberry soy milk. And he also discovered the little plastic shot glasses in the pantry. I came home from work today to find him pouring a perfect shot (more like 100 shots) of soy milk into his shot glass. I'm not sure if it's just the novelty of the "baby" glass or what, but he's gone through a whole liter in a two hour period :) Do you think strawberry soy milk is okay to get hooked on?

One last thing...you know when your child is an Australian when they come out saying things like "hold me like a wee baby" and only eating Vegemite sandwiches, when they call their flip flops "thongs" and refer to their diapers as "nappies". Silas totally makes me laugh sometimes. His accent is so thick, I think I'll have to interpret for everyone at home :) But, seriously now, what's not to love about the Australian accent. It's just beautiful. And in just a few months the whole Ballantyne family will be true-blue Aussies. I'm up for citizenship in February. Cool hey?

Wow, that is so cool! And just for the record, I call our dipes "nappies" too :)
