Head on over
here and check out this amazing recipe! I made it tonight and we absolutely LOVED it. (Thank you Tammy). I'll admit that I'm not really a "lentil" person. I've had them in my pantry for a month or so, trying to convince myself they are healthy and to try them. But, I could never find a recipe that looked easy, and appetizing so, they just sat and gathered dust. When Tammy posted this, the first thing i thought was that I had everything in my pantry to make this dinner. I love those moments! I made it with jasmine rice and I have a feeling that brown rice would taste better, you know, nuttier and not so jasminey- if that's a word. But, even with jasmine, it was lovely. And my house still smells oh so good!
Let me know if you try it and what you think!
(Thanks, Karissa, for teaching me at midnight how to link)

You are welcome. A pleasure to chat with you for a bit. Might I also suggest (so that people know 'here' is linked) that you bold face it or increase the font size a bit or both. It helps to have it stand out a bit so it's clear you can click on it.
I will make that recipe this week. I too have some lentils in the pantry and have been really wanting to incorporate more beans and lentils into our meals.
Did you see MckMama's tuna salad recipe this week? I made that (with several changes) and it was a big hit around here.
Blessings!
I'm so glad you tried this recipe! It's one of those dishes that really doesn't look very pretty, but that you still want to serve to guests because it tastes so good! Thanks for the link too!
Made it tonight, agree it doesn't look beautiful but it tastes really, really good. I added leftover turkey chopped up.
Thanks!
