These last few weeks have been both eventful, and very uneventful. Over Easter break we had the privilege of having our pastors from Seattle come and stay with us. It was such a blessing getting to spend quality time with Jan and Scharme. I cried when they left. Apparently, I'm really bad with goodbyes. I blame it on the fact that we say goodbye to a lot of special people, regularly. I'll have to post some pics of the fun things we did (just not this time around)...
I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant and seriously feeling this little guy. My whole body hurts all the time. I swear it gets worse with each pregnancy. Other than the aches and acid reflux, I can't complain. I'm feeling really good and bubby is healthy and growing. Now, we just need to pick a name...any good ideas?
Yesterday Silas graduated to a Big Boy Bike! He's in love and I love how my kids get excited! We found his bike marked down to $30 from $80 (such a steal!). Stu took Silas with him to pick up the bike and let him help him put it together. He didn't come inside until well into the evening after it was dark. He woke up at 6 this morning and rode it all over the house and has been outside since about 8am. It's now 3:45pm. I told you he was in love :) My sweet son was born to be the oldest. He is my adventurer and likes to do things all on his own. He doesn't want any help or to be "babied". He accomplishes everything he sets his heart to. Even when it's something simple like learning how to use his scissors to cut in the lines or to use his breaks on the new bike. Which he's worked at all day. He warms my heart with his determination and hard work. So much like his daddy.
Josiah is getting so big as well. He's talking in half sentences and loves to be with his brother. At 18 months the kid blows me away. More on him later :)
On Friday we fly out with Stuart's whole family for a family cruise around Asia. So stay tuned for the adventure stories! Much love...xoxo
